aTimeLogger integrates seamlessly with the Apple Shortcuts app, allowing you to automate your time tracking. For instance, you can start activities using Siri or automatically start/stop activities when you arrive or leave certain locations.

Available actions

  1. Start activity - start activity of a selected activity type

  2. Pause activity - pause the currently running activity

  3. Resume activity - resume a paused activity of selected activity type

  4. Stop activity - stop the currently running activity

Here's ab example of Start Activity shortcut creation

  1. Launch the Shortcuts app on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Tap the '+' button in the top right corner to create a new shortcut

  3. On the New Shortcut screen, tap 'Add Action' and search for aTimeLogger Pro in the action search bar

  4. Tap the ’+’ button in the right corner of the ‘Start Activity’ action.

  1. Tap on ‘Activity Type’ and choose the type of activity you want to start.

Selecting Read to start
  1. After selecting the activity type, tap ‘Done’ in the top right corner.

Your shortcut is now ready to be used!

You can now trigger this shortcut with Siri, or set it to automatically start an activity based on specific conditions, such as arriving or leaving a place.
